Insomnis is an atmospheric indie first-person horror game that invites the player to explore the mansion of the Castevet family. The main character, Joe Castevet, receives the residence as an inheritance from his grandfather. For a long time the mansion remained uninhabited, and Joe has to explore the house, which is now his frightening property.

The gameplay isn’t just about carefully moving around a house where rooms change places and the viscous atmosphere is filled with gloomy shadows and rustles. To explore the estate, the player has to solve many different puzzles and make various decisions in the dialogues and actions of the hero. Depending on the choice made, the outcome of the story at the end may unfold at an unexpected angle.

The game received critical acclaim from critics, who said the pilot from Barcelona studio Path Games “sets high industry standards”. With relatively undemanding graphics, the models and locations of Insomnis are made with sophisticated taste, and the visual part of the game, along with the work of the sound engineer, does not allow the player to relax throughout the story.
