Prison Tycoon: Under New Management is an economic strategy game that introduces the PT series and transports events to a regional prison idle due to investment problems, recruiting suitable staff and rehabilitating prisoners. The developers from Abylight Studios invite everyone to become a guard and try to turn an almost abandoned prison block into a thriving correctional institution, capable of bringing back those who have been guilty of the law, within a limited period of time.

The gameplay is meditative: after the plot and a superficially designed training chapter, the building of the premises begins, the recruitment of guards and specialists, and full interaction with the prisoners. A whole collection of tasks will have to be dealt with – someone needs to be re-educated, someone needs to have a conversation, and someone needs to be told why it is impossible to break the law for any reason. In addition to psychological support, you cannot do without feeding, physical activity and even correctional work. The more activity, the more likely it is to achieve a suitable outcome for the work done.
