Remnants is a multiplayer survival simulator with detailed graphics, a dynamic combat system and branched out elements of crafting, research and construction. Developers from Immortal Hand Studios moved the events to the near future: the Earth is falling apart due to corporations sharing power, lack of fuel and supplies, regional military clashes.

There are fewer survivors every day, and therefore many daredevils begin to move to the mountains, deserts and steppes – where the opponents mad from the spilled blood will not reach. In the wild, the simulator offers to move around the global map, collect supplies (some are scattered on the ground, the rest will have to be selected for suitable equipment), research technologists and equip a personal base in every possible way.

From the point of view of concepts and ideas, the gameplay is very predictable for the genre, but against the background of competitors it stands out for its combat system (there are hardly any assault rifles mixed with axes at every step) and well-thought-out life mechanics. The hero bleeds out, becomes infected with radiation, and can hardly survive poor-quality food and water.
