Those Who Remain is a gripping horror game with an intriguing story. Meet Edward Turner, who accidentally arrives in the quiet town of Dormont. The main character is not much different from others, has several failed pages of the past behind him and is in search of a place where he could heal his wounds. And so, an unremarkable town gives him a chance to forget about the incidents of life for a while, but something does not give him rest.

Without knowing it, the protagonist found himself in the tenacious paws of a mysterious ghost town. He occasionally comes out of the shadows to capture new “lucky ones” suitable for food for local creatures. The only way to avoid the fate of a delicacy is to stay close to the lights at all times. They frighten the demonic spawn, which makes them flee in panic. Now Edward will have to forget about his depression, in an attempt to survive in the middle of hell, hastily getting to know other poor fellows who find themselves in a trap.

The way out to the cherished freedom lies not only in the search for bright light, but also in the use of spatial portals that divide the world of Dormont into two universes. Actions on one side directly transform events on the other, which can be manipulated on the way to ordinary life.
