Warpips is a military tactical strategy game from Stay Small Studios, based on the ideas and concepts of the RTS genre, but with a lightweight and partially reworked economic system and almost no control over battles. The gameplay focuses primarily on recruiting soldiers in virtual barracks and preparing tanks, helicopters and artillery to defeat opponents on the virtual front.

Each unit of equipment or infantry automatically moves towards the enemy, shoots and uses equipment, and at the same time accumulates currency and experience necessary for moving up the career ladder, awarding ranks and medals. The battles are intense and spectacular: the screen is full of special effects in the spirit of Hollywood (exploding barrels of fuel, smashed and overturned tanks, trenches filled with blood), the colors in the sky are always thickening, and the result of the confrontations is unknown until the end credits.

But, despite the style and design, the developers do not turn the passage into an arcade and each time hint at strategic elements and an atmosphere hidden behind a screen of fun – harsh, uncompromising and permeated with tragedy and pain.
