Yakuza Kiwami 2 is an action-packed, action-packed, gang-showdown adventure game. Kazume Kiryu, a mercenary of the Tojo clan, retires from service to devote his life to raising a young girl whom he has taken under his wing. But the assassination of the fifth head of the former group puts an end to his plans. War is coming and only he, the legendary Dragon of Dojima, is able to prevent bloodshed and restore the balance of power of the warring clans.

The project is a remake of the 2006 game, which was recreated on the proprietary engine of the modern parts of the series – Dragon Engine. Now strikes have “weight”, grabs look more spectacular, and enemies naturally wear out after contact with an element of the environment. Fans of the saga should appreciate: a wide range of graphics options, no restrictions on frame rates, support for 4K resolution and customizable controls.

Spectacular battles with opponents and a pretentious plot are diluted with several improved mini-games known from the original: “The Creator of Clans” and “Cabaret Simulator”. They were complemented by arcade ports of classic SEGA products: Toylets, Golf Bingo and Virtual On. They also added the backstory of the main game – “Saga of Majima”, where the main character is Goro Majima.
