After a series of teasers, Electronic Arts has officially announced Need for Speed Unbound – the next part of the famous arcade racing series. It is being developed by Criterion Games, the studio responsible for the latest games in the franchise and the Burnout series. The debut trailer below features American rapper Rakim Myers, better known as A$AP Rocky.
In Need for Speed Unbound, players will have to compete in weekly qualifiers to qualify for the Grand, Lakeshore’s ultimate street racing challenge. The developers promise a rich customization system that allows you to fine-tune the car to your own style, a police chase system and a vibrant soundtrack with songs that sound in every corner of the world.
Need for Speed Unbound will release on December 2, 2022 on PC via Steam, EA Desktop and the Epic Games Store, as well as on the current generation PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S consoles. Users who pre-order will be able to start playing three days earlier and receive exclusive items.
