The authors of the isometric MMORPG Corepunk have decided on the start date of early access and the timing of the fourth alpha testing. Early access starts on November 26, 2024, and pre-orders begin on July 12. However, before this event, the game’s longest testing will take place: Alpha-4 will take place from August 6 to September 6, 2024. Pre-order holders and participants in the first alpha test will be able to take part.
At the start of early access, the developers will offer players two new biomes and settlements, randomly generated dungeons, new story and side quests, hundreds of items and three new character specializations. There are no plans to reset players’ progress, but the authors warn that if critical errors are identified they will have to do this.
Game servers will be located all over the world, including Western Europe, North and South America, Asia and Oceania. But high-quality translation will be done only in English, but players will be able to use machine translation from the Eleven Labs service.
In their message on the game’s website, the developers note that testing of Alpha-3 was successful. 50,000 players took part, allowing key infrastructure fixes to be tested following a problematic test in May. The game still needs a lot of polish in all directions, and along with that, new content will be added gradually. For example, during Alpha-4 there will be a “synthesis machine”, NPC traders, new locations in the northern part of the world, mounts, character level 20 and three branches of passive talents.
