In the near future, the launch of the fourth phase of the alpha of Elite Dangerous: Odyssey is expected, where the developers will check compatibility with the main game. Testing itself will last until April 30, and just three weeks later, on May 19, the full release of the extension on the PC will take place.
“We are pleased to announce that the PC version of Elite Dangerous: Odyssey will be released on May 19th! Your feedback during the alpha period was invaluable and made this release date possible. We will continue to collect feedback throughout the upcoming fourth alpha phase and post-launch, work on further improvements and content updates, ”the authors reported on the Steam blog.
As for the version of Odyssey for the console, work is underway on it, but no specific launch dates have been named. The Frontier Developments team also recalled that in the last few days before the end of the alpha, players can still pre-order the expansion and receive exclusive rewards.
Elite Dangerous: Odyssey is the second global paid expansion pack for Elite: Dangerous. The expansion is one of the largest in the history of the project and allows you to land on unfamiliar worlds, explore them on foot or by transport, learn new professions, customize your character, and much more.
