The publisher Boltrend Games has finally released Derby Stallion: Masters equestrian sport simulator for iOS. The game has been available on Android for quite some time, but let’s see what the developers can do to please. At the start we are greeted with soothing music in the style of Nintendo and The Legend of Zelda. We take on the role of a protagonist who returns to a forgotten ranch and decides to give up city life.
Horses need to be constantly trained, for this we must choose the soil, as well as the load during exercise. Before participating in official races, you must “score a place for yourself.” Then we set the strategy for the rider and watch the races. Everything looks solemn, as if you are at the opening of the Olympic Games. The very same race can be boring: graphics of the level of PlayStation 2, static and pixelated background and no music, except for the clatter of hooves.
Derby Stallion: Masters is now available on iOS and Android. There are in-game purchases, but the Russian language was not delivered, so it can be difficult for people far from equestrian sports.
