The e-sports holding ESforce, together with the Russian Computer Sports Federation (FKS) and with the support of developers from Lesta Games, announced a new e-sports League for the multiplayer action game “World of Tanks”. The best teams from Russia and Belarus will take part in the competition, and the prize fund will be 60 million rubles. A portion of this fund will be distributed among teams based on their divisional positions.
The start of the League is scheduled for November 2024. The tournament will involve 24 teams, divided into three divisions according to ratings. During the gaming year, it is planned to hold four tournaments in a LAN format with spectators, the key event will be the final World of Tanks Cup.
The organizers expressed confidence in the success of the project, which will strengthen the position of World of Tanks as an eSports discipline in Russia.
