On the eve of the start of beta testing of the multiplayer first-person shooter Concord, the developers published article, which described this stage in detail. Especially for visitors to the MMO13.ru portal, we have collected all the information in a concise form.
General information about beta testing
- The Concord Beta Early Access Weekend on PC and PS5 will begin on July 12 at 8:00 pm BST.
- If you’re playing on PS5, you can pre-download the Concord beta starting July 11, 20:00 BST.
- By pre-ordering any edition of Concord, you’ll get access to the early access beta weekend, plus four additional codes to share with your friends
- Additional codes will be for the same platform you pre-ordered on.
- In addition to pre-orders, PlayStation Plus subscribers will be able to take part in the Beta Early Access Weekend.
- The open beta will begin next week, July 18, at 20:00 Moscow time, and will end on July 21.
- You’ll be able to pre-load the Open Beta client on PS5 on July 17 at 8:00 p.m. BST.
Beta Content
The following content will be available to players during the Concord Beta Early Access weekend:
- All 16 characters with customization options.
- 3 modes:
- Clash Point – A respawn-free game mode where teams compete for control of a single capture zone in the center of the map.
- Trophy Hunt – In this mode, killing enemy crew members drops tokens. Collecting these tokens will earn points for the team. The team with the most points at the end of the match wins.
- Cargo Run – A non-respawning game mode where teams compete to obtain a Blue Buddy delivery robot, place it in one of the zones, and defend it from their opponents to win.
- 4 cards: Freewater, Star Chamber, Water Hazard, Shock Risk.
After the start of open beta testing, the game will have:
- Area Control Mode – A respawn mode where teams compete to control multiple areas on the map to score points. If a team controls two or more zones, the rate of their accumulation increases. The first team to reach the required point threshold wins.
- Bone Mines Map.
Beta Test Rewards
As a thank you for participating in the Concord beta, you will receive several gifts:
- Frog weapon amulet (stands for “From Orbit to Ground” and is the name of the Northstar ship)
- Star Flare icon
- business card.
Early Access progress will carry over into the open beta, but not into the release version of Concord.
