As you know, the first-person shooter Battlefield 2042 will not feature a single player campaign – the game is exclusively multiplayer. However, the developers have previously promised to serve the plot in other ways. In the new short film, Exodus, the first details were revealed.
The video is just over 9 minutes long and follows the events leading up to the Civil War of the Misfits in Battlefield 2042. You will see Specialists to play in multiplayer, including Kimble Graves, nicknamed “The Irishman” from Battlefield 4, played by Michael Kenneth Williams.
The leader of “Oz” has a different view of the future of the Restless, so it is with him that the future global conflict is connected. The developers are going to tell the stories of other specialists in similar videos to immerse players even deeper into the world of Battlefield 2042.
The release of Battlefield 2042 will take place on October 22, 2021 on PC, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X | S and PlayStation 4, Xbox One. EA Play subscribers will be able to enjoy the 10-hour trial on October 15th, while EA Play Pro subscribers will be able to enjoy the full version on the same day.
