After harvesting, which we did in the previous lesson on soil care, it’s time to prepare bales from the straw that is in the field after the harvest. The fifth and penultimate lesson on Farming Simulator will teach us this.
Our first task in the guide is to connect the press to the tractor. The press must be extended and the gathering element must be lowered. To do this, we use a combination of buttons: LB + A / L1 + X and LB + B / L1 + circle. The last task before leaving the field is to turn on the press using the LB + X / L1 + buttons.
In the field, we need to drive through the places from which the press will collect straw and produce bales. The resulting bales will fall out at the rear of the machine. After creating the required number of bales, the game will move on to the next stage, that is, transporting the bales from the field. At this stage, we will use a special machine, i.e. bale picker (pictured below).
However, before leaving the field, we must get into the tractor and connect the bale collector. Then we must leave the loading platform of the machine by pressing the LB + X / L1 + buttons. When the picker is ready to go, we leave the field and collect the bales so that the machine can take it from the field.
After collecting the required number of bales, we will have to deliver the goods to the collection point. The buy point can be found on the minimap as a green highlight. At the indicated location, also highlighted in green (1), the machine must be unloaded twice by pressing the combination LB + Y / L1 +.
The first time, the machine will go into unloading mode, and after the second time, unloading will begin. This is the last task in this lesson.
