SNK introduced the new fighter of Kane R. Heinlein for Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves, which will be available during the upcoming open beta testing. Along with this, fighters with their exit dates, which will become part of Season Pass 1, were announced.
Additional characters from Season Pass 1 will appear in Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves in the following order:
- Andy Bogard and Ken – Summer 2025
- Joe Higashi – Autumn 2025
- Chun (from Street Fighter) – Winter 2025
- Mr. Big – beginning of 2026
Players who placed a preliminary order for the publication of the Special Edition, which includes Season Pass 1, will also receive a classic Terry Bogard from Fatal Fury 2.
Kane R. Heinline is a young ambitious fighter who decided to put things in order in the South Town. He destroys criminal organizations, but unexpectedly finds out that his sister Marie is held in captivity. Realizing that one will not cope, he unites with the rock Howard in order to save her, and the key to victory becomes participating in the KOF tournament.
During the open beta testing of Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves, which will be held from February 20 to February 24, 2025, players will be able to test eight characters, including Kaine R. Heinlin, Terry Bogard, Khovard Rock, Khotar Futababu, B. Jenet, May Siranui, Posch and Voks Riper. Four arenas and several network modes will also be available: Ranked Match, Casual Match and Room Match.
Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves will be released on April 24 on PC (Steam, Epic Games Store), PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X | S.
