AMD will not officially unveil it’s Ryzen 5000 mobile processors until January 12. Still, because many (if not all) of them have already appeared in the descriptions of a wide variety of laptops, you can compile a summary table of their characteristics. It is necessary to clarify right away: there will be three families in the line on two architectures: Cezanne-H and Cezanne-U on the Zen3 architecture and Lucienne-U Zen2 architecture. Accordingly, the latter will provide less performance gain over the current generation APU than the former.

The high-performance (35-45W TDP) Ryzen 5000H features Ryzen 9 5900HX (overclocked), Ryzen 9 5900HS, Ryzen 7 5800H and Ryzen 5 5600H. The power-efficient (TDP 15W) Cezanne-U APUs are available in the Ryzen 7 5800U, Ryzen 7 5600U, and Ryzen 7 5400U models. There are three models in the Lucienne-U family with similar TDP parameters: Ryzen 7 5700U, Ryzen 7 5500U, and Ryzen 7 5300U.
We have summarized all the currently known characteristics of these hybrid processors in a table.
CPU | # Of CPU cores/threads | CPU frequency, GHz | # Of GPU cores | GPU frequency, GHz |
Ryzen 9 5900HX | 8/16 | 3.3-4.6 | eight | n / a |
Ryzen 9 5900HS | 8/16 | 3.1-4.5 | eight | n / a |
Ryzen 7 5800H | 8/16 | 3.2-n / a | eight | n / a |
Ryzen 5 5600H | 6/12 | 3.0-4.1 | n / a | n / a |
Ryzen 7 5800U | 8/16 | 2.0-4.4 | eight | 2.0 |
Ryzen 7 5700U | 8/16 | 1.8-4.3 | eight | 1.9 |
Ryzen 5 5600U | 6/12 | 2.3-4.2 | 7 | 1.8 |
Ryzen 5 5500U | 6/12 | 2.1-4.0 | 7 | 1.8 |
Ryzen 3 5400U | 4/8 | 2.6-4.0 | 6 | 1.6 |
Ryzen 3 5300U | 4/8 | 2.6-3.85 | 6 | 1.5 |
Perhaps the Ryzen 7 5800HS and Ryzen 5 5600HS models will appear in the Cezanne-H family, which will act as a direct replacement for the Ryzen 7 4800HS and Ryzen 5 4600HS APUs, but so far, nothing has been said about them. As for the Ryzen 5000U line, it can be said to be fully formed.
