Wemade company told on the use of blockchain in the global version of the MMORPG Night Crows. The developers are confident that the game economy based on the blockchain “increases the scale and quality of the gameplay, and also strengthens the overall game economy.”
In the global version of Night Crows, they plan to implement the MUTE system, a multi-purpose token economy. With this system, several tokens are used in the game at once, and not one universal token, as in other projects. In total, the developers plan to implement 7 types of tokens.
$Morion, $Gear, $Promote, $Tear, $Feather, $Papyrus are 6 tokens that will not have an initial release and will all be produced and mined by players in the game itself. $Crow is a token with an initial release, which is an analogue of “diamonds” (donated currency).
In addition, it will be possible to turn your character into an NFT token as proof of ownership within the rules of the game.
In South Korea, the Streamer Supporting System proved to be highly effective, and the developers decided to implement it into a global version via the Wemix blockchain platform.
Like any game using blockchain technologies, the global version of Night Crows raises questions. But we hope that on release it will be easy to deal with all the subtleties.
MMORPG Night Crows has become financially successful in South Korea and the developers plan to launch a global version before the end of 2023.
