The publishers of Aniplex and SEGA, together with the developers from CyberConnect2, officially announced the release date of the Faiting Demon Slayer: Kimetsu No Yaiba – The Hinokami Chronicles 2. The game will be released in Japan on August 1, 2025, and on the global market – on August 5, 2025. The project will appear on PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X | S and Nintendo Switch. Digital pre -orders will start in the near future.
Owners of conservations from the first part of Demon Slayer: Kimetsu No Yaiba – The Hinokami Chronicles or Demon Slayer -Kimeetsu No Yaiba- Sweep The Board! They will be able to unlock additional characters and costumes. For example, for preservation from the original game, six characters of the Kimesu Academy are given, and for data from Sweep the Board! – Three characters (Hinatsuru, Machio and Suma), united in one fighter, with three unique outfits.
The developers also shared a new trailer and recording 42 minutes of gameplay. In the future, they promise to reveal more information about the gameplay and innovations.
