The first part of Five Nights at Freddy’s came and went during the huge popularity of indie games. As a result, many sequels, prequels and even fan assemblies were released for the series. There was one man behind it all – Scott Coughton. Together with fans, he created one of the most tube and scary series of video games. Seven years later, we can say that this era is over: Scott announced on your sitethat he is ending his career as a game developer, at least for the FNAF series. Now he is almost 45 years old, and there are now six children in his family (one has not yet been born). He wants to concentrate on them and those things that could not be done due to workload.

But this is not the end of the FNAF series: Scott will hand over the reins to whoever he chooses and whom he trusts. So far, there are no clear dates or announcements, but in the end it will happen. Scott himself will peek into the light from time to time, just not so often.

Over the years of activity with Five Nights at Freddy’s, Coughton managed to earn $ 60 million (his fortune for 2020). Recently, the developer has been harassed on the Internet because of his political views. Perhaps this was another reason that pushed Scott to end his career.
