The developers of the football manager simulator Football Manager 25 have announced a postponement of the release date to March 2025. Sports Interactive made this decision following discussions with SEGA, licensors and partners to give itself more time to complete the first game in the series’ new era.
The release was originally scheduled for November 2024, but the studio encountered difficulties during development. According to the authors, the current deadlines were too tight, and this could have a negative impact on the quality of the project. In its latest block, the studio noted that despite the team’s best efforts, many processes were slower than expected.
Football Manager 25 promises to be the biggest technical and visual breakthrough for the series in years, and the developers don’t want to sacrifice quality for the sake of an earlier release. For those who have already pre-ordered, it will be possible to return the money by contacting your seller.
It’s worth noting that Football Manager 25 gameplay is now scheduled to be shown at the end of January 2025.
