NetEase Games has launched the sixth season of its multiplayer third-person shooter Marvel Rivals, dubbed “Ticket to the Museum.” The update added a new playable character that many fans have been waiting for a long time – Deadpool. As in other works, including comics and films, this hero likes to break the fourth wall by directly addressing the player.
Deadpool’s special feature is the ability to choose any of three roles, each of which has its own set of abilities. Thus, as a Defender he has increased survivability, as a Duelist he has more attacking abilities, and when choosing the role of Strategist, his bullets can heal allies. He can fight both in close and ranged combat.
Another important innovation was the expanded hero mastery system. Players can now level their character up to level 70, with each level granting rewards such as titles, sprays, plaques, badges, and units. The update also made numerous balance changes, added new team abilities, and launched another battle pass. You can find the full list of changes on the official website (general, balance).
