Dreamside Interactive studio has published the fourth issue of developer diaries for the survival simulator Frozen Flame. The authors talked about several innovations they are currently working on.
So, a new large location will appear in the game called the Cursed Lands, where the main storyline will continue. This is one of the final locations before the Ice Citadel, which is designed to test the players’ skills to the limit. Before you go there, you will have to prepare well.
New monsters will also appear – wild lizards. According to the developers, battles with them will be difficult and interesting. Their distinctive feature is high speed. For defeating them, you can get new resources needed to create chitin armor.
Components for new unique dishes will appear.
Finally, a new boss will be added to the game. The developers did not disclose its name and features, only warning that it would be deadly.
In the end, the authors noted that after the release of the spring update, the budget for the development of Frozen Flame decreased and they had to cut the team. For this reason, the development speed has slowed down, but despite this, they are going to bring the project to release.
