Splitgate: Arena Warfare, a multiplayer first-person shooter, did not find much popularity among PC gamers, although it received positive reviews. However, the developers are not discouraged, and during the IGN Expo announced the release on consoles.

Splitgate: Arena Warfare is coming to PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One and Xbox Series X | S next month – July 27, 2021. The open beta version can be tried out even earlier – from July 1 to July 7, inclusive. Support for cross-platform multiplayer is promised.

The project was developed by the studio 1047 Games on the Unreal Engine 4 and executed in a sci-fi setting. The main feature is the ability to create portals between which you can quickly navigate, as in the Portal dilogy. The PC was released in May 2019. The game is distributed free of charge.
