Gearbox Software has suddenly decided to revive the third-person MOBA Gigantic, which was closed in 2018. Some users who previously registered for an Arc account began receiving emails inviting them to the first playtest. The upcoming stage will take place this week, from October 5 (22:00 Moscow time) to October 7 (7:00 Moscow time).
Testing will take place under a strict NDA, so participants will be prohibited from conducting live broadcasts, publishing screenshots and gameplay videos, or discussing the game outside of a private chat on the official Discord server.
The relaunch of Gigantic will receive many improvements compared to the closed version. First of all, a new Rush Mode will be added. The description says that this is a faster and more action-packed mode that makes it easy to get into the action. There will also be a loadout system, allowing players to create their own builds. In addition, the developers will change the progression system, improve training, rework customization and add luck cards that allow you to learn character stories and earn in-game currency to open up additional customization options.
