In December, the Russian version of Lineage 2 celebrates three anniversaries at once: 16 years of the original Lineage 2, 10 years of Lineage 2 Legacy and 5 years of Lineage 2 Essence. The FoGame platform has prepared an extensive program of celebrations, including gifts, updates for all versions of the game and interactive events.
Players can expect a variety of rewards in each version of Lineage 2. Essence has prepared upgrade kits with valuable resources, Legacy gives away rare materials for creating and enhancing equipment, and the original Lineage 2 has exclusive accessories and bonuses for completing holiday tasks.
In addition, each version of Lineage 2 has received major updates:
- With the Guardians update, Lineage 2 Essence acquired two new servers – Ruby and Sapphire. The PvP system of the game has been redesigned: epic bosses and the cross-server now have special PvP zones where battles take place without loss of experience for death. Companions have appeared – guards who can be equipped with weapons, armor and other items. In addition, the Avatar and Elemental Master classes received new abilities.
- Lineage 2 Legacy introduced the legendary location – Hell Island, known as Hellbound. There are three hunting zones with demonic monsters and weekly raid bosses. For victories, players receive materials to create a unique infernal talisman that enhances characteristics. The update also includes new equipment and the Aden Laboratory, a system for strengthening characters.
- Lineage 2 has received the Superion update, dedicated to the space invasion of giants. Players can venture into new zones – the Empress’s Palace dungeon and the Superion battle fortress. Four new bosses have appeared in the open world, and for defeating them you can get rare accessories, weapons and equipment.
On special website you can visit a virtual tavern with game characters, write a message to yourself in the future and place it in the Time Capsule. After five years, these letters will be sent to the recipients.
