Amazon Games, the global publisher of the MMORPG Throne and Liberty, announced a pre-release PvP event for Siege the Day. Previously, we reported on its preparation, and at the same time the requirements for participants and preliminary conditions for holding it were announced. Now it has been officially announced.
As part of Siege the Day, there will be two stages, divided by servers and potential audience:
- The first stage starts on September 25 at 00:00 Moscow time. North American guilds and content creators received invitations to attend. Several players will fight in a 3v3 arena, two guilds will fight for Boonstone, and the main event will be the participation of nine guilds in a castle siege.
- The second stage starts on September 25 at 20:00 Moscow time, and European groups and content creators will take part. They will also take part in arena battles and castle siege. The difference will be fighting for Riftstone instead of Boonstone.
To attract attention to this event, the developers will launch a Twitch drop, the reward of which will be the unique title Siege the Day, the Great-Fanged Figmen amite and the Caerulean Cygnus transformation. Don’t forget to link your Twitch, Steam and Amazon ID to receive rewards.
As for the participants, twenty teams and an unnamed number of famous streamers received invitations. During the siege, 70 people from each guild will participate, and during the battle for Riftstone and Boonstone, “special guests” will join the guilds.
Interestingly, among the invited teams there is the Russian-speaking JustPlay guild, which previously played in several closed and open tests and actively studied the game on Korean servers. They will have to prove themselves both in the siege and in the battle for Riftstone against the European guild Nixx.
