Throughout your journey in Baldur’s Gate 3, you’ll come across numerous puzzles and strange phenomena that will require a different approach to unravel. The scuffed stone puzzle is certainly one of the easiest, but many players might not even understand what its essence is without knowing all the mechanics of the game.
While some puzzles are fairly straightforward or rely on an ability check, others can seem intimidatingly difficult, especially for those new to the CRPG genre. So let’s find out how to solve one of the first puzzles in Baldur’s Gate 3 and why even do it.
Location of worn stone
You can easily walk past this ordinary-looking cobblestone at the very beginning of the game. After successfully escaping the Mind Flayer ship, you can head southwest from the crash site to one of the paths leading to the beach. There should be a small crevice, on the opposite side of which you will see a lonely boulder.
How to move a worn stone
Getting to it is not difficult, since you can simply jump over to the other side, but in order to move it from its place, you will need to make serious efforts. If your main character doesn’t have much power yet, you’ll need the help of one of your teammates with a high enough strength. Laezel or Karlach are excellent candidates for this job.
After switching to the most powerful character in the squad, hold the left button of the cursor over the worn stone and simply drag it to the side. Beneath it, you’ll find a hidden Harper treasure chest filled with valuable items.
