The collectible role-playing game Hoyeon, previously known as Blade & Soul S and Project BSS, has reached its full release. Despite the fact that the project is only available in South Korea, Japan and Taiwan, an English translation is already available. This could be a hint of an imminent entry into the global market. However, for those who don’t want to wait, we have prepared this small guide.
How to register an account for Hoyeon
To get started, you will need an NCSOFT account from one of the supported countries. To create it, you need to do the following:
1. Go to page creating an NCSOFT account.
2. Select one of the three supported countries (Korea, Japan or Taiwan) and enter your date of birth in year-month-day format.
3. Accept the license agreement. The first two points are mandatory and need to be checked. The third allows you to send newsletters to your email – you can skip it. To confirm, click on the left button labeled Agree.
4. Enter your email address and click Send Verification E-mail, after which you will receive a verification code by email. Also enter your desired password twice.
5. That’s all. Your account has been created and you can now start downloading the game.
How to download the Hoyeon client
Mobile devices
You can download the mobile version in the following ways:
- Android — Just download and install a third-party Apk file. You can find it, for example, on Apkpure.
- iOS – You can download the game directly via App Storebut you’ll need an Apple ID from one of the supported countries (South Korea, Japan, and Taiwan) to do this. When creating, you will need to indicate a real address, which can be found, for example, through Google Maps.
PC
Some users may have problems downloading the client on a PC, but in reality it’s not that complicated. You need to do the following:
1. Download the Purple app via official website (click on the Download button in the upper right corner of the screen and select Download Windows Version).
2. Launch the Purple application and log in through the created account. If you chose South Korea during registration, then leave the region as “Global”. If you indicated Taiwan or Japan, you will need to change it.
3. Download the client for PC from one of the following links: Google Play, direct link, Yandex.Disk.
Do not start the installation through the launcher – first download the client from the links above.
4. Install the downloaded file. After this, the remaining necessary files will begin downloading, the total size of which is 33 GB.
5. Once the download is completed, you will be able to play without any restrictions with English translation.
