The expected by many offline DevGAMM conference in Moscow has come to an end. It brought together publishers, investors and game developers. After a long lull offline, the industry revived ahead of the upcoming event and tickets sold like hotcakes – a week before the conference. There has never been such a stir around DevGAMM.
DevGAMM participants also cheered up the conference with their stands and activities. The Green Gray team was especially distinguished by its rebelliousness and ability to irony. Mountain goats ran on huge LED screens, and self-ironic jokes with invited Sergei Mezentsev (ex-host of “Reutov-TV”) perfectly bordered on high-quality demos of upcoming games and worthy cosplay of the characters of the Mercs game.
A new release of the only TV program about games “Time to play” from Muz-TV was filmed at the conference. The host of the program and concurrently BizDev Green Gray – Anton Lipnitz spoke about the characters and mechanics of the mobile game Mercs, a joint project of Developers Unknown and Green Gray.
Several TV crews ended up at DevGAMM at once. Channel E and even Fashion TV, which probably filmed the fashionable images of the developers and everything that happened.
We are seeing the game development industry become more exciting for new people. Industry events are getting bigger and more popular and come alive with new faces. Fashion or not, we hope that the trend will only go up.
