Plot

Where do the action of this part of the game series originate? Events unfold in that time interval, which is between the fifth and sixth parts of the game. Seven years have passed since Empress Miv went to the forefathers at the hands of the enemy. Whom did she leave behind who could take the empire under her reasonable and glorious control? There is one contender – this is Ivan from the family of the Griffin, the duke, who is sure that he not only can, but must lead the destroyed Empire. However, he is young and needs mentorship. He has a difficult choice to make – whether to leave the struggle for power for the sake of peace or continue the war – so that peace will surely come? He decides that the Shadow Council will help him in this matter, which always has answers to many questions. The advisers of this organization decide to give Ivan experience, which they pass on to him through stories about former leaders who have become legendary heroes due to their services to the people they ruled. Our protagonist will have to immerse himself in six stories, so that in the seventh, his own, he, having gained wisdom from the lessons learned, can take the right step.

Game process

This game is a turn-based strategy game. What does step by step mean? This means that you only have a certain number of steps per turn. During your turn, you can build one building and recruit units, after which, if you have a hero, you can complete the remaining number of turns by opening a new part of the map. The map contains various sources of resources that will benefit you, various useful buildings, which are often guarded by an enemy squad. They can either engage you in battle, or, horrified by the size of your troops, run away in fear, or vice versa join you. The first thing you always do is choose the faction you want to fight for. In this part, there are six factions that have come straight from the previous parts: Necropolis, Alliance of Light, League of Shadows, Academy of Magic, Recalcitrant Tribes and Forest Alliance. Each faction has six classes of heroes, of which only two are magical, and the rest are devoid of magical predispositions. If we talk about the army, then it consists of basic creatures, of which there are three units, elites (also three units) and champions – only 2 units. Players will have to choose which army they want, so you will need to build exactly the buildings in which these creatures can be recruited. Also, the so-called support units returned to the gameplay, but with changes. So, they now perform various functions, being in one faction or another.
