“I still can’t believe it” – The creator of moorestech is shocked by the hype around his project

Studio sakastudio announced the unexpected success of the new project moorestech, which is an industrial automation simulator with RPG elements. In just 23 hours from the moment the page was opened in Steam the game has collected more than 10 thousand additions to the wishlist. Social networks also showed high interest in the announcement. Publication about the announcement in X received about 800 thousand views and thousands of positive reactions, which came as a surprise to the developers themselves.

“Honestly, I still can’t believe that in just 23 hours after the announcement we collected 10,000 wishes. Before the announcement, I thought “1000 in 24 hours would be great,” so I’m truly grateful for the response, which has been ten times greater than my expectations. I’ve been developing games for almost 9 years now and I firmly believe that everything I’ve created before has finally taken shape,” said the developer.

The author also admitted that the success of moorestech caused mixed feelings. Along with the joy of recognizing nine years of development experience, he felt serious pressure from the audience. Now the creator of moorestech sets himself the task of not just releasing the project, but making it the highest quality representative of the automation genre in order to meet the expectations of so many people.

Moorestech is a hybrid factory simulator and anime-RPG set on an abandoned planet. The main technical feature of the game was the abandonment of the usual wires in favor of gear mechanics. Players will have to manage rotational energy, taking into account the torque and rotation speed to power the machines. Progress covers a huge period of time – from the Stone Age to the era of thermonuclear fusion. The storyline follows an exiled princess who tries to build a rocket to return home, while unraveling the mysteries of the planet Arcadia.

In addition to the unusual gear mechanics, the project stands out for its openness to the community. The game’s source code will be published on GitHub, allowing enthusiasts to freely create modifications. The developer plans to further develop modding tools, aiming to create an environment in which even users without programming skills can modify the game.
