The developers of the MMORPG with sandbox elements Pax Dei announced the largest update since its release in early access, called Proving Grounds. The patch will be released on November 5, at 12:00 Moscow time, and before that there will be a four-hour maintenance. The main theme will be improvements to the gameplay in the early stages: an updated world map, new enemies, rebalanced equipment, new spells and general improvements to the combat system.
In addition to changes in battles, players can expect an updated world map, a new biome, redistribution of resources and the introduction of a Journal for convenient management of crafting recipes. These innovations will also affect the future economy of the game. The game will also switch to a new version of the Unreal Engine 5.3. A full list of changes will be published closer to release.
It is important to note that with the release of the update in Pax Dei there will be a complete wipe of all shards. Players will lose their plots of land, but will be able to save materials that will be in a special inventory. All clans will also be reset and will have to be recreated. Characters will not be affected, but players will have to choose a new shard and, if necessary, a new name.
