Cloud Imperium has released a major update 3.17.0: Fueling Fortunes for the space MMO Star Citizen. It brought with it a lot of innovations that expand the gameplay, so we will briefly note only the most important ones:
- Now you can refuel your ships from other pilots for a fee. The ship can have six external fuel pods, each filled with a selectable fuel type (hydrogen or quantum). This allows players to carry different amounts of fuel to meet different refueling needs.
- There is a Maria Pure of Heart Hospital in Lorville, where players can get treated, recuperate, take prints and buy medical supplies.
- Updated all existing space station clinics with new add-on modules and layouts to make each location feel more unique.
- First implementation of river technology to improve planetary ecosystems. Currently only one river with a crop near microTech is available, but more are promised in the future.
- Added a fully interactive vendor in Area18. It sells hot, soft and cold drinks.
- It’s now possible to sell items from your local inventory to shops using the new Building Blocks-based interface.
- Complete overhaul of the ship storage.
- New ship: MISC Hull-A
- Various gameplay improvements and bug fixes.
