By data Korean media, Krafton has started working on the continuation of the once popular MMORPG TERA. The development of a project, which is supposedly obtained by the name TERA 2, is carried out in the Bluehole Studio division responsible for the original.
The new project will lead Kang San Criminal Code, one of the key developers of TERA. He is considered the first Bluehole Studio employee to join the team after its founders. Kang San of the Criminal Code is known for its approach to development, which consists in creating games, which are interesting primarily to himself and the same players like him.
At the moment, TRA 2 is at the very early stage of development, and the team so far consists of only four people. It is assumed that the continuation will relate to the MMORPG genre, like the first part.
There was no official announcement of the sequel yet, so it is not worth excluding that the project will not reach the full stage of production or will appear completely in the form that everyone expects. However, earlier, the chairman of the Board of Directors of Krafton, Chan Ben Gyu, has already announced his intention to continue working on MMORPG.
