The Innova company shared interesting statistics about the 4game platform. Based on the results of the survey, in which 1,362 users took part, the following details became known:
- 58% of gamers live outside cities with a population of over a million.
- 42% of gamers live in large cities, of which only 16% live in Moscow.
- For every one female gamer, there are six male gamers.
- The main part of the audience is people aged 25 to 45 years, the average age is about 30 years.
- 57% of gamers work face-to-face, 15% work remotely, and 9% develop their business.
- Among the professions there are sailors, IT specialists, truck drivers, factory workers and even ballerinas.
- The most popular hobby is watching movies and TV series (more than 70%).
- 35% of gamers love active recreation and communication with friends.
- Other popular hobbies: cooking (24%), reading fiction (21%) and educational (20%) literature, traveling (19%).
- Unusual hobbies: handicrafts, car repairs and spiritual practices.
- 69% of gamers have pets, most often cats (42%) and dogs (16%).
- Some gamers keep exotic animals such as ferrets, chipmunks, African hedgehogs and spiders.
- 82% prefer PC games in the MMORPG genre, 44% – RPG, 33% – shooters. Strategy (28%) and adventure (16%) are also popular.
- 84% of gamers play on PCs, 32% on laptops, 11% on consoles.
- 43% do not use mobile devices for gaming, and among those who do play on mobile devices, the majority do so at home (30%) or on the go (9%).
