This is the entry-level model based on the Xe-LP architecture
During the Intel Architecture Day event, Intel announced the start of the mass production of its first discrete accelerator based on the Xe architecture. We are talking about the entry-level model DG1.
It’s not a fact that the production version will be called that way, but the characteristics of this are unlikely to change. The DG1 is based on the Xe-LP architecture – it is designed for entry-level 3D cards and integrated GPUs (such as those included in the Tiger Lake CPU). On the official level, the characteristics of the DG1 have not yet been revealed, but according to rumors, the GPU has 768 stream processors and is clocked at 1.65 GHz. The amount of video memory is 3 GB. DG1 deliveries are expected to start before the end of the year.
