With the release of the last character from the second season pass for Guilty Gear: Strive, the developers are not going to stop supporting the game. The third season pass has already been announced, which will include four fighters, two arenas and additional color schemes.
The first of the four planned pass characters will be Johnny, who will appear in the game on August 24, 2023. He is the leader of the Medusa Pirates and is proficient in Hirofumi’s swordsmanship. Johnny is a world-class criminal, but he lives by the principle of “help the weak and get stronger”, which has made him popular with the masses.
Johnny will be available in the game with the release of a free update that will add new moves for the 15 starting fighters, a new Wild Assault mechanic for all fighters that allows you to perform a forward lunge attack, and a new Deflect Shield mechanic that blocks any attack.
