In the Royal Battle of Pubg: Battlegrounds, an in-game event dedicated to the popular K-POP group Aespa was started. This collaboration brings new visual elements, musical accompaniment and activity inspired by the style and work of the team. The functionality associated with the event will be available until the next major renewal of the game.
On the starting islands of cards such as Erangel, Miramar, Vikendi, Tago, Dun and Rondo, special scenes of Pubg X Aespa appeared. When using thematic emotions, they will be reproduced by the corresponding music video, immersing the players into the atmosphere of the performance. On consoles and for the Dark Arts song, images from the album will be displayed. Players can join the performance on the stage or watch him as a spectator. These scenes are active from the beginning of the match until the plane is imposed on the plane, and are available in ordinary, rank and casual modes.
Miramar card received serious thematic changes. In the locations of El Pozo, Pecado and Tierra Bronca, mysterious areas appeared, reminiscent of Aespa concert venues, where you can also interact with the group clips. Sports halls were turned into concert areas, and some buildings are converted into PUBG X AESPA recreation points, equipped with large screens, mysterious refrigerators and players reproducing Aespa compositions. On wheat fields, you can now find huge symbols that create the impression of an alien presence. The atmosphere of the collaboration is complemented by fireworks launched to landing from the aircraft, and thematic banners on starting aircraft (with the exception of fero). Music in transport on all cards was also replaced by Aespa composition, and the new anthem PNC 2025 – Dark Arts from Aespa sounds in the default lobby.
In the workshop of the game, there are many opportunities to obtain new items. Players can collect fragments of boxes with Aespa trophies, which then exchange full boxes. Various game events are provided for this. In the “Special Creation” section of the workshop, sets of costumes, sets of emotions, skins of weapons and other objects that can be created using special tokens are available. The “Special Creating – AesPA” tab will be available only until August 11 for the PC and until August 19 for consoles, after which unused tokens will disappear. Certain Aespa costumes have restrictions and are not combined with some other wardrobe items.
In addition, special game events have been launched as part of the collaboration. Web events will allow you to get exclusive awards and access to the PubG X Aespa project gallery, providing players with trophies and G-Coin. Special missions, available before July 30 for PC and until August 7 for consoles, allow you to get Aespa characters’ emblems. The event “Collector”, active until August 11 for the PC and until August 19 for consoles, will award players with the user skin of the Aespa Lobby for receiving the equipment of thematic costumes of all four members of the group.
