The success of MMORPG MIR4 haunts many Korean companies. Most of them announced the release of their own blockchain platforms, but many decided to join the already ready-made structure. Those were NHN, Action Square, Supercat, Joy City and Someage.
The companies plan to adapt their existing and some future games, including mobile ones, for the Wemix blockchain platform. The latter was created by Wemade with the aim of converting MIR4 currency into tokens and then real money. It is worth noting that since such monetization is prohibited in Korea, new items and never-before-released Korean games will immediately go to the global market.
One of the first new games on Wemix will be Someage’s Dekaron M, based on IP Dekaron. The game will combine the business model of Lineage 2M and the features of the Dekaron franchise.
