Krafton announced that it received the award for best investor relations at the 2024 Korea IR Awards ceremony in Seoul. This event is organized annually by the Korea Investor Relations Association and recognizes companies that actively and effectively communicate with investors.
Krafton was awarded this award just three years after listing on the Korea Exchange (KOSPI) in 2021. The company was noted for the active participation of management in presentations of financial results and other events, where they explained their strategy and success to investors. For example, CEO Kim Chang Han and CFO Bae Dong Geun regularly held meetings with investors and also attended special events for analysts to detail the company’s plans.
They especially highlighted the fact that Krafton is the only gaming company that annually organizes such meetings with analysts. This year the company also intensified its work with new investors in the US and Europe.
In addition, Lee Ji-eun, head of the investor relations team at Krafton, received an individual award. She was noted for her contribution to improving communication between the company and its shareholders, as well as for her successful work in attracting new foreign investors.
The company said it will continue to actively communicate with global investors to strengthen its presence in the international market.
