Gameforge has announced a major update 2.0: Storm in Balaurea for the European version of the MMORPG Aion Classic. It will be released this summer and will add a lot of new content to the game. According to the publishers, the update is unique and contains significantly more content and quality of life improvements than was available for other regions at this stage.
The Storm in Balaurea update will increase the character level cap to 55. In a new storyline, the Asmodians and Elyos will engage in an epic battle against the fearsome Balaur, a powerful dragon-like race. Also, players will be able to go to new dangerous areas of Balauria.
PvE content will be replenished with six new instances: Beshmundir Temple, Udas Temple, Lower Udas Temple, Esoterrace, Upper Abyss Instances and Taloc’s Hollow. All of them, with the exception of the last one, which is single, are available for passing as part of a group of six people. In addition, three PvP maps (1 vs 1, 6 vs 6) will be added: Chantra Dredgion, Tiarkh Testing Lab and Empyrean Crucible.
