The official UK Xbox social media account accidentally revealed that Control Resonance will appear on Xbox Game Pass on release day. If the leak is confirmed, this will be one of the main additions to the service in September 2026.
Published post promoted upcoming action RPG from Remedy Entertainment and directly called it a Day 1 Game Pass release. The situation looks strange, since neither Xbox nor Remedy Entertainment announced the launch of a subscription service through the company’s official channels.
Now this post has already been deleted from the feed, but the screenshots remain – neither the developers nor the publishers responded to late-night requests from journalists, so gamers can only wait. Given that the game is scheduled to release at the end of the month, it is possible that Xbox UK prematurely published promotional materials intended for the second wave of September service announcements.
Moreover, a similar situation has already happened before, when a similar premature publication affected the game Castlevania: Belmont’s Curse. This suggests that such leaks through official social media accounts are not uncommon for Xbox lately.
Control Resonance will be released on September 24 on PC, PS5 and Xbox Series.
