Role-playing in FromSoftware games for most ends with choosing a class, a more effective hat, and some internal blocks, for example, not using a shield. But sometimes someone takes the idea to the point of absurdity and turns Interearth into an arena for an animated series about a boy with an arrow on his forehead, who, in between elemental storms, puts down the goddess of rot.

One of the players collected Elden Ring build of the Avatar, master of the four elements, and recorded a three-minute battle with Malenya without a single damage received. The task was to glue together the set of abilities from the anime so that it would not fall apart at the first contact with the boss.

It’s based on the Dryleaf Arts, a melee weapon from Shadow of the Erdtree with a cold affix, the Seal of the Golden Order for prayer scaling, and the whirlwind spell dropped by the second Lion Dancing Divine Beast in the expansion. It was this that raised the most questions, since visually it looks like the Ashes of War, although this is a full-fledged prayer of faith.

The most impressive moment of the video is the Waterfowl Dance, Malenya’s signature multi-hit routine, which the character simply stood in place. There is no magic here, only the Deflecting Hardtear in the Vial of Miraculous Tears, added in the expansion.

It allows you to parry blows with melee weapons and staves, reflecting each individual blow by pressing block.

The subtlety is that for fast sequences like a dance, you just need to hold the button, but this does not work with all fast attacks; some of the sequences require a separate press for each blow.

The second nuance concerns Malenia’s vampirism, which restores health even from blocked attacks. Here, the guard’s parry saves the day, causing enough damage that the health it takes away turns into a statistical error.

Nickelodeon hasn’t been able to make a good game about the Last Airbenders in twenty years, but one player managed it in three and a half minutes.
