The developers of the upcoming jRPG Visions of Mana decided to introduce future players to the main characters of the game. There are six of them in total, and with them players will have to travel through the entire storyline.
- Val hails from Tianea, the Fire Village, and is the newly appointed guardian of souls. When his childhood friend Hinna is chosen to play the role of Alma, he travels around the world to accompany her on a pilgrimage.
- Hinna is Val’s childhood friend from Tianea, the Fire Village. Having received the honor of being chosen by the Alm of Fire for the upcoming pilgrimage, she is overjoyed at the opportunity to share this adventure with a friend.
- Karen is from Longren, the Valley of the Wind. An accident deprived her of one of her precious wings, but this did not dampen her desire to be appointed Alm and see the world beyond Longren. She is rarely seen without her best friend, the cub of the sacred beast Ramkoh.
- Morley is from Eternus, Moonrise. Since childhood, Morley has bore the brunt of the terrible disaster that befell his hometown, but after meeting Val and the others, he finds the strength to confront his painful past.
- Palamena is the young queen of Illistana, the Capital of the Deep, who ascended the throne from an early age. She tries to balance the expectations of Illistana society and turbulent politics while caring for her younger brother Ian.
- Julie is a sprout from the Verdeus District. He is currently a guardian and is responsible for watering his sleeping comrades. He spends his days doing monotonous work, but meeting Val and his team brings unexpected changes to his life.
Visions of Mana will be released on August 29, 2024 on PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S and Nintendo Switch.
