KingsIsle Entertainment has announced the release of MMORPG Pirate101 on Steam. In honor of this, the developers have published a new trailer, located below. You can download the client on a special page.
“We’ve been wanting to release Pirate101 on Steam for a long time after seeing how successful Wizard101 was on Steam in 2018,” says Leah Reuben, studio senior director. “Steam is also providing new ways to connect with the community through the Community Center. We’re happy to see that users are already using the forums to discuss their experience with the game.”
Simultaneously with the launch of Steam, the game received a major update called Sinbad Chapter 2: The Iron Lotus. The update expands on the story of Sinbad that began last year and adds two new companions, Sinbad and Albano. The pirates will also have to fight a super-powerful Dreadnought that has been captured by an armada assault ship. As a reward for defeating him, you can have a new powerful weapon.
Pirate101 is an MMORPG from KingsIsle Entertainment released in 2012. The game takes place in the same fictional universe “Spiral” as in Wizard101. The player takes on the role of a pirate who, after being rescued from a prison ship, begins searching for map fragments that could lead to the mythical and long-lost world of El Dorado. In this project, you can complete quests, manage ships, hire companions and fight enemies in a turn-based combat system.
