MMORPG ArcheAge servers in Europe and North America have been disabled

Kakao Games has closed all official servers of the MMORPG ArcheAge in Europe and North America. Previously, the publisher reported that the reason lies in the low online availability of the project. This decision was made jointly with the game developers from XLGames. Interestingly, today the mobile ArcheAge War was released in Southeast Asia.

The possible gradual cessation of service for the game was first discussed in July 2023, but regional publishers were quick to refute this rumor. However, the developers said they are discussing ending support for some unprofitable regional versions.

The servers of the western version of ArcheAge were launched in December 2014, and during the service period several publishers were involved in the project at different times: Trion World, Gamigo, Kako Games. Attempts to bring back players were unsuccessful, and at times technical problems that arose only scared away potential audiences.

Currently, when you go to the official website, a message is displayed that the game is no longer available.
