MMORPG Blue Protocol received a new trailer on the game engine with a demonstration of characters and some plot points. Amazon Games also announced that it will be publishing the project outside of Japan, and according to a press release, Blue Protocol will be “the latest title in Amazon Games’ portfolio of high-quality games with live service” after New World.
“Blue Protocol is a superbly made game; it’s like an anime come to life,” said Christoph Hartmann, vice president of Amazon Games. “Bandai Namco Online has created a world of the highest quality with an immersive story that will help bring the community together and immerse players in an exciting adventure. As anime continues to gain popularity around the world, we look forward to bringing Blue Protocol to players in the West next year.”
Blue Protocol is a third-person MMORPG from Japanese developers Project Sky Blue, Bandai Namco Online, and publisher Amazon Games. The project is being developed on the Unreal Engine 4 and is made in a fantasy setting with anime style.
The global release is expected on PC via Steam, Xbox Series X/S and PlayStation 5 in the second half of 2023, with the PC closed beta due in the first half. Now you can apply on the official website.
