Hong Won Joon, CFO of NCSOFT, said that MMORPG Throne and Liberty and Lineage W are preparing for release in Russia. The announcement was made as part of its fourth-quarter 2025 financial report. The release dates and information about the publishing partner were not announced, but previously the release of Lineage W in Russia was planned for the first half of 2026.
As for the company’s other projects, both releases of new games and expansion of the service areas of already released projects are planned in 2026:
- The release of MMORPG Lineage Classic in South Korea and Taiwan will take place on February 11, 2026.
- Currently, two mobile games are being developed Guild Wars Mobile And Aion Mobile together with a Chinese partner.
- Lineage W will be released in Southeast Asia. It was previously reported that this would be a reboot of the game.
- Lineage 2M and Lineage M will be released in China.
- Cinder City, LIMIT ZERO BREAKERS and Time Takers are preparing for the global CBT, which will start in March 2026. The developers have already conducted several closed playtests and believe that the projects are ready for global testing.
As for plans for 2027, players can expect Horizon Steel Frontiers, a first-person shooter Bonfirecollection game Project AT and MMO Project R. Details about these projects will be announced later.
