Firstspark Games continues to develop its MMORPG Throne and Liberty. In a new letter, producer Park Kyung Soo shared the main events planned for the first quarter of 2026. It’s worth noting that this is a preliminary changelog and some of the new content has not yet been revealed.
Let’s start with the patch that the Korean version of the game received today, January 13th. In it, attention was paid to the problems of “explosive damage” of multi-hit attack skills, as well as excessive character survivability, which arose due to the incorrect operation of defensive skills that reduce damage received. Class balance remains one of the key topics, and the developers intend to make the necessary adjustments in the future.
Several important updates will be introduced on January 27:
- Improvement of the Amitoi expedition.
- Ability to transfer rights to decorate your home to other players.
- A new method for selecting artifact characteristics. It’s worth noting that this is not the massive system overhaul that was previously reported.
- “Tower of Greed” is a PvE dungeon for solo and group play. It will have 5 zones with 10 floors, each of which presents unique challenges, including elite monsters and puzzles. Floors are randomly generated, increasing replayability and variety of content.
February will be devoted to improving the stability of the game and improving existing systems. However, it will not do without a number of innovations:
- Cosmetic elements for costumes.
- Battleground content will be integrated into the main arena.
- Events in honor of the Lunar New Year.
At the end of March, the largest update of the first quarter will be released, within which players can expect:
- Two new co-op dungeons.
- A new map for the battleground dedicated to the theme of construction and destruction.
- A new equipment slot that expands character development options.
- New content, which will be discussed later.
