Sledgehammer Games has shared details of the upcoming first-person shooter Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III. The developers talked about the campaign, multiplayer and various features of the project.
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III is a direct sequel to last year’s Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II. In the single player campaign, Captain Price and OTG-141 will face the greatest threat. War criminal Vladimir Makarov is spreading his power around the world. In addition to the main storyline, so-called open combat missions will appear in the game, giving more choice to players.
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III’s multiplayer mode will feature all 16 starter maps from the original 2009 Modern Warfare 2. 12 brand new 6v6 main maps will also be added throughout the various seasons.
In addition, a new zombie mode will appear in the game, in which you will have to team up with other squads to survive and fight huge hordes of the undead on the largest zombie map. This mode introduces a new story from Treyarch with missions, main game zombie features and secrets to uncover.
